How many times have you travelled by office vehicle or waited for school bus to arrive to pick up/drop your child?
Sometimes, you miss the vehicle and sometimes you may have to wait for a long time for the vehicle to arrive.
Introducing a new feature, Vehicle Tracking functionality of Citizen’s Patrol to end all your woes.
It can be utilized by any organization/School worldwide to facilitate real-time vehicle tracking.
Using this functionality, the passengers will know the exact Real-Time location of the vehicle and hence can reach the pick-up/drop-off point appropriately thus avoiding missing the vehicle or unnecessarily waiting for the vehicle to arrive.
Once the Organization is setup for this functionality, the Driver and Passengers/Parents of Students have to register themselves for the Organization/Vehicle/Route and then you are all set.
Once the vehicle starts from its origin, the Driver has to activate the route and all passengers will receive an app notification that their vehicle is in route.
Using the Tracking History functionality, the passengers will be able to see the Real-time location of the vehicle as a list and on map. This will provide them with a good estimate of the vehicle arrival time.
Once the route has been activated, the Driver can also send real-time Group Broadcast to all passengers in case of any unavoidable delays/issues.
The passengers have the option to register for unlimited number of routes for various Organizations and Activate/Deactivate the route on the fly to Start/Stop tracking for the vehicle.
This feature can be activated by selecting Vehicle Tracking option under Settings.
As this is user initiated request, only Vehicle location will be sent to passengers and no data will be shared from passenger devices.
The tracking history (Received / Sent) can be accessed at a later time for reference or to get directions to any marked location via google maps.
This functionality is available to citizens using the Group Subscription in free version of the app OR Pro version of app.
FYI, this functionality does not send any help request or call any number.
