Citizen’s Patrol is single app that works globally for Public Safety, SOS, Help & Emergency request and Real-time personal & Vehicle tracking. It ensures that where ever you are, you are always connected to your near and dear ones.
In case of any kind of emergency when you need help, you can always depend upon Citizen’s Patrol and send a help request at a press of button.
Citizen’s Patrol works globally and hence you do not need to worry in case you are travelling as you are always covered.
Imagine a situation, where your car breaks down on a highway and you are unable to provide exact location to tow truck driver. Citizen’s Patrol comes to your rescue. Both you and the tow truck operator has Citizen’s Patrol installed. You can add his number as a friend and send a request as “Friend Only”. The tow truck operator receives the request with location details. He accepts the request and google directions are launched and WOW, he has reached exactly to your location without delay!!
Other situations can be but are not limited to:
- Life threatening situations like Medical/Fire/Police emergency,
- Eve teasing,
- Uninvited people at home and unaccompanied seniors/kids at home or away from home requiring help and
- Social gatherings – where your friend is lost and unable to reach your party location.
- Friend only request for initiating two-way real-time tracking. Even works when both you and your friend are moving.
- Non-Emergency situations like: Want to get tracked while commuting from office to home.
- Waiting for office/school bus with no idea of it’s location.
- Sharing your location,
- Sending Broadcast message to a set of people for any kind of event.
- Geofence – Automatically sends notifications and initiates real-time tracking if the senior citizen or child goes outside the safe zone as specified in app and stops when they re-enter the safe zone.
Functionality:
- Single button ERS (Emergency Response System) functionality for Life threatening situations like Medical, Fire or Police emergency:
- Dials emergency number as specified under settings.
- App Notifications to total 12 citizens nearest to you including location tracking link.
- Email with location tracking link to your registered friends.
- Real-time tracking initiated and updates sent to your friends.
- Google directions to provide door-to-door route for quick response.
- Provides list of citizens to whom the request is sent along with their current distance.
- Requester can choose to reject any helper from that list if he does not want that particular helper to help him.
- TrackMe feature to manually initiate Real-Time tracking.
- Friend Only feature to initiate two-way real-time tracking.
- MyLocation feature to check, save and share your location details.
- GeoFencing feature to auto initiate real-time tracking when a user exits a predefined area and deactivate it once they are back. Once initial setup is done then the app works in auto mode without any manual intervention while following the rule SAFE: ( SET, ACTIVATE and FORGET till EMERGENCY).
- Group Broadcast feature to send notifications to all group subscribers.
- Vehicle Tracking fleet feature (only for Organizations) for both office & school commuters to track real-time location of their ride via notifications and map.
- Provides live vehicle details to commuters so that they can be at route stop on time resulting in efficiencies for time and cost.
- Provides notifications to commuters when per-defined route stops are approached/crossed.
- Provides current location map of complete fleet to admins/managers.
- Provides editing capabilities to admins/managers to add/update/delete any vehicle/Route/Route Stop/Driver.
- Provide door-to-door directions via google maps to your location for quick help.
- Option to cancel the help request when no longer required.
- Provides list/map of citizens to whom the request is sent and their distance from the requester.
- Requester can choose to reject any helper from that list if he does not want that specific helper to help him
- Requester can also view their location on a map if he desires so.
- Opt-in option to share the phone number for helper to reach him.
- Option to helper to accept/reject a request once received. If accepted, launches google maps for directions.
- Option to use default country specific emergency number or to modify it as per user’s preference. Country specific help calling is based on the SIM country.
- Calling facility will work only if your device has phone facility.

- Option to cleanly uninstall the app if not satisfied by archiving data from server. Need to select – “Cancel my account” at the bottom of Registration screen.
- Works globally, do not need to install any other app if relocating or traveling. You can always depend on Citizen’s Patrol.
- Robust functionality as easy to be integrated with the security establishment of any country/region/organization.
- Test Mode – to test the app. It disable the Emergency Services Calling and sends all notifications/Email with a disclaimer that user is Testing the app and hence not to respond.
Requires:
- Android device Lollipop and above with internet, location services (GPS) and google play services.
- If your device does not support SIM or working mobile plan then as long as the android device has internet, google services and location enabled, other functionality will still work!!! Only Phone functionality will not work.
- Needs working Phone plan for calling helper/requester in case of emergency.
- Requires Phone and High Accuracy Location permissions.
