In today’s episode of the weekly feature series, we are going to highlight the My Location functionality of the Citizen’s Patrol app.
As the name suggests, this functionality allows you to get all information related to your location like your Geo-Coordinates, Current Speed, Altitude, Accuracy of location in meters and approximate address based on your location.
You have an option to switch the view to Map OR Share your location details with your family and friends via your preferred option i.e., WhatsApp, SMS, Email etc.
You can also save your current location as Home, Office and Parking or by Custom name at any time. The location history can be accessed at a later time for reference or to get directions to a saved location via google maps.
Some of these features like sharing of location are pro features which are available for free for a limited period.
Using the Pro version of app OR group Subscription in free version of the app, you can share your location with anyone and save unlimited locations whereas the limited version of app provides functionality to save it only as home, office or parking.
FYI, this functionality does not send any help request or call any number.
